T-Shirts Are Everywhere Saying Everything

I'm sitting at the food court of a very busy shopping mall on a Saturday with a pad of paper. Counting how many men and women are sporting t-shirts, what type of t-shirt they are sporting, and roughly just how old they are. That is my 4th Saturday running this poll in 4 distinct malls. Sports Blue helps you to fulfill all your sports needs.

T-Shirts Are Everywhere Saying Everything

I counted a total of approximately 4,000 individuals over 4 months in this poll. In general, about 60-65 percent was sporting t-shirts - double my expectations! There was a variance from the age classes. For all those below 25-years-old, roughly 80-85 percent wore t-shirts. For all those 25 to 40 years old, roughly 60 percent wore t-shirts. And, for those over 40, roughly 35 percent wore t-shirts.

I scarcely saw the exact same t-shirt twice. There were humorous t-shirts, creature t-shirts, Christian t-shirts, patriotic t-shirts, and all sorts of novelty t-shirts. And, I was not surprised to observe a couple of primitive or offensive ones in the mix either.

Younger children, those between 5 and 12-years-old, wore many t-shirts. That era bracket was nearer to 90 percent. The majority of them had any sort of "cute" picture or slogan (such as a Disney t-shirt) or something related to sports. Most adolescents and college students wore t-shirts that appear to match up closely with their individuality.

More than anything, it became evident that sporting a t-shirt is a means to express oneself. Whether supporting a sports team, a college, or nation, folks wear t-shirts to express themselves and make a statement. However, some folks use them just because it looks great, it is cool, and they are comfy. The t-shirt sector is a massive enterprise.
